Add a stunning Gods & Goddesses section to your Book of Shadows with this beautifully crafted printable collection. Explore the ancient lore of the Wild Hunt through a page built around Herne the Hunter, and connect with deep Celtic and Pagan roots through artwork that renders the Horned God as he has always been known — protector of the woodlands, and something far older than any one story can hold.
Who Is Herne the Hunter?
Herne the Hunter is a Horned God of British and Celtic folklore, tied to the spectral procession known as the Wild Hunt and often woven into the same lineage as Cernunnos, the Green Man, and even Robin Hood in later legend. This printable page captures his dual nature at once: a fearsome leader of the hunt through the dark, and a solemn guardian standing watch over the forest and every creature within it.
What Does This Printable Include?
⭐ What you get:
- 1 high-resolution PDF (8.5" x 11", 300 DPI), ready to print at home
The file arrives instantly, sized to slide straight into a standard Book of Shadows or frame beautifully as standalone altar art — a quiet piece of dark academia witch aesthetic for anyone drawn to Pagan, Wiccan, or Druidic imagery.
How Do I Use This Page in My Practice?
Place it on your altar, and let it stand as a ward against the darkness that trails behind the hunt. Bind it into your Book of Shadows, and it becomes something closer to a prayer — a conduit to the old ways, and to every hunter who has called on Herne before you. Feel the call of the horn. Hear the thunder of hooves. The Hunt is eternal, and it does not ask permission to begin.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is this printable suitable for beginners building their first Book of Shadows?
A: Yes. No prior experience with Herne the Hunter or Wild Hunt lore is needed — the page works as both a teaching tool and a devotional piece, welcoming you wherever your practice currently stands.
Q: Can I use this page as standalone wall or altar art instead of binding it into a grimoire?
A: Absolutely. The 8.5" x 11" format was chosen to work equally well framed on a wall, propped on an altar, or bound into an existing Book of Shadows.
Q: Will the colors look exactly like the preview once I print it at home?
A: Colors may shift slightly depending on your printer, ink, and paper — a small variance, but worth knowing before you print.
