Ostara brings the joy and blessings of light and radiant dawn. She is associated with transformation and new beginnings. Legend has it that she once transformed a bird into a hare, which may be the origin of the Easter bunny. This association with the hare also connects Ostara to the moon and lunar cycles, as hares are nocturnal creatures.

Despite being mentioned only once in scholarly writings of the period, Ostara's influence is still seen today in the celebration of Easter, whose name is derived from this beautiful goddess of spring.
