Glow Wine or Glühwein was invented by the Romans to save any extra wine they had that was going off. In the middle ages, Glühwein became popular and was even thought to be very healthy because of all the spices.

Today Glühwein is made with different spices and often served with an orange slice or cinnamon stick. Glühwein is enjoyed by many cultures around the world during the winter holidays, as it warms up even the coldest nights!
