Ostara is the pagan holiday celebrating the Spring Equinox, ushering us into the spring season as we transition from dark to light. 

At the Spring Equinox, both day and night are equal, creating balance and harmony. As the days grow longer, energies of growth and increase grow stronger. Ostara is named after the Germanic goddess of spring and dawn (also known as Eostre). Ancient pagans celebrated Ostara with festivals centered around re-birth, fertility, and harmony themes.
