This Ancient Gods and Goddesses Grimoire brings twenty rare occult pictures into your hands, taken directly from Vincenzo Cartari's 1592 masterwork, Le Immagini Dei. Cartari was a renowned mythographer devoted to capturing the true physical forms of the gods — not merely their stories, but the weight and shape of their presence. Something old passes through these pages into yours. This is a direct inheritance from history, ready to take its place on your altar or within your Grimoire.
What Is Included in This Gods and Goddesses Grimoire?
The collection arrives as a 20-page printable PDF, rendered in high-resolution 300 DPI so every line of the original engravings stays crisp beneath your hands. Each page is sized to a standard 8.5" x 11", ready to print at home or through a local shop, then bound, framed, or laid beside the candle. Colors may shift slightly depending on your printer, ink, and paper — a small reminder that every printed grimoire carries its own fingerprint.
Which Gods and Goddesses Are Pictured?
Open these pages and you'll meet Aphrodite, Apollo, Artemis, Bacchanalia, Bacchus, Cupid, Felicitas, Fortuna, Hecate, Hera, Luna, Neptune, Persephone, Pluto & Proserpine, Priapus, The Furies, The River of Styx, The Sirens, Venus, and Virtue & Vice. Twenty faces of the ancient world, each holding its own symbolic thread — Venus and her longing, Hecate and her crossroads, Fortuna and her turning wheel.
How Can You Use These Occult Pictures?
Let these images become working tools, not just keepsakes:
- Study the ancient deities and the symbolism they carry
- Draw on them as reference for ritual and spellwork
- Weave them into your own art and creative projects
- Add them to your Grimoire or Book of Shadows
Gather them into your practice. The rest is yours to build.
