Flowers have never been just a gift — they carry a message. Since the 18th century, the Language of Flowers has served as a secret form of communication, letting people speak emotions that could never be said aloud. Each bloom holds a meaning, a story, a feeling waiting to be understood.
This 10-page printable junk journal kit draws its spirit from the pages of an antique grimoire, carrying that same romantic, vintage energy into your journal spreads. It's a Floral Junk Journal Kit built for hands that want history, not just paper.
What Is the Language of Flowers?
The Language of Flowers is a symbolic system where each bloom carries its own hidden meaning — a rose for love, a daisy for innocence, a full bouquet forming an entire unspoken conversation. It originated in the Ottoman Empire before spreading across Europe, where it became a quiet language of its own — particularly for women who were forbidden to express their emotions freely. Flowers became their voice when their words could not be.
Today, this floral symbolism still lives on — in bridal bouquets, in secret admirer arrangements, in the romantic gestures passed quietly between two people. This Vintage Floral Art kit lets you carry that same tradition into your own pages, turning each spread into a small act of remembrance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What size journal do these pages create once folded?
A: Each of the 10 pages folds in half to form a finished journal size of 5.5 x 8.5 inches, giving you a compact, handheld book ready for collage, writing, or floral ephemera.
Q: Do I need special paper to print this Old Flower Journal kit?
A: The files are formatted at 300 DPI and sized for standard 8.5" x 11" paper, so most home printers or local print shops can produce them without any special setup — though cardstock is recommended for a sturdier, more antique feel.
Q: Is this kit only for junk journaling, or can it be used for other projects?
A: While it's designed with junk journaling in mind, these Floral Messages pages work equally well for scrapbooking, collage art, and planner decoration — anywhere a vintage, romantic touch is welcome.
