I don't cast spells for others  Several times a week I get texts or emails from total strangers asking me if I will cast a spell for them.  The two major themes are to bring back a lover or to get more money.   Making magick to force a person to love another is about as anti-Wiccan as a spell could possibly be!  I think that it IS causing harm to work magick to influence someone's free will.  It's almost like rape, using force to make someone come back to a situation that may or may not have been happy and/or healthy.  How would I, as a stranger know that I wasn't luring a victim back to an abuser?  There may have been very good reason that the lover left in the first place!    You want your lover back?  Try being kind, thoughtful and loving!

Spell-on-demand for money is a real issue for me too.  The whole idea of casting a spell for a total stranger smacks of charlatanism to me.  How could I as a witch, work up enough magickal energy for someone and/or something that isn't really all that important to me?  Sure I care about the well-being of others, but I certainly don't take on their problems as my own.  If I did, I would spend all of my time trying to fix up other people's lives to the detriment of myself, my family and my Coven sisters. Do you need more money?  Get a job, work hard, and don't expect that simply lighting a candle and chanting a chant will suddenly bring showers of wealth raining down upon you from the sky.

A huge part of magick is backing up the spell in the real world.   Real magick is hard work.  You have to be completely invested in the outcome, be sure that your timing, ingredients, words and will all align to your purpose.  You also have to be willing and able to do whatever it takes in the real world to accomplish your goals.    

The most powerful magick comes from the person who is invested in the outcome of the spell......you! All humans have the power within themselves to change the course of events in their life.  Know what you want and why you want it, be willing to do the work magickally and physically that it will take and believe, believe, believe!  You can do it!
